IINE’s Reunification Program

In 2011, the International Institute of New England (IINE) launched a groundbreaking reunification program specifically designed to assist youth from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador in reconnecting with their relatives residing in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This initiative was crucial in addressing the challenges faced by unaccompanied minors fleeing violence and instability in their home countries. The program encompassed various supportive services, including legal assistance, education advocacy, and culturally relevant resources, enabling participants to navigate the complexities of their new environment.
